EXECUTIVE PLAN, PROGRAMMING OF ACTIVITIES, ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND INSTITUTION OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

 

Duration

First month; 1 month

 

Specific goals

Planning of activities, layout of crossing activities, definition of the organizational set-up and preparation of the first partnership workshop

 

Activities:  

  • Elaboration and layout of planning material:  

a) Masterplan,  

b) Crossing activities workplan:  

I.  Dissemination plan to be realised throughout the whole project,  

II. Monitoring workplan,  

III. Evaluation workplan,  

IV. Products/results grid. 

 

  • Constitution of the Management Committee. The Management Committee should check direction and monitoring of the project. It will take part at start-up, mid-term and final workshops. It is supposed to assess the modelling and survey tools.

 

Members: one for every organization adherent to the project.

Consiel as project leader is going to coordinate the project activities.

 

  • Ech partner should indicate the person responsible of:  

a) administration 

b) diffusion/exploitation  

c) products to be realized  

 

  • According to the purposes of visibility and transfer of the project start-up of collaboration with selected organizations (such as Committee for the art and the Virtual Museums) and European networks such as I.CO.M. (International Counseil Museum) to support the international exploitation of the project.

PARTNERSHIP WORKSHOP IN ROME- DEFINITION  AND SHARING OF CONCEPTUAL SCHEME OF REFERENCE

Second and third months; 2 months.

 

Goals

  • Definition and sharing of conceptual scheme of reference on professional competences, formative implications, contents of social dialogue and equal opportunity for the creation of a virtual museum  
  • Sharing and validation of each section activities plans:  

a) research activities;  

b) Website architecture to support of the model (virtual Museum on European roots);   

c) formative model. 

  • Validation of the crossing activities workplan:  

a) monitoring and evaluation;  

b) dissemination of the results in the different phases and at the end of the project;  

c) products/results to be realized

  • Secondary  analysis of the sources, documentary and of the investigations realized in Europe and in the different partnership countries, on formative involvements, social dialogue and equal opportunity for the creation of a virtual museum

PHASE          3

 

PLANNING AND REALIZATION OF A WEB PORTAL FOR  THE MU.S.EU.M. PROJECT WITH THE AIM TO DEVELOP THE TRAINING  EXPERIMENTATION

 

Duration

Third and fourth month; 2 months (the first in contemporary to phase 2, the second in contemporary to phase 4);

 

Specific  goals

  • Definition and realization of the Website architecture and the inside structure
  • Definition of the multimedia support/content for MU.S.E.UM.  formative model
  • Website shared with the whole partnership 

 

Activities 

  • In application of the sectorial workplan defined in phase 2, will be conceived and realized a website to support the project, that is supposed to realize the tasks of formative modelling and results dissemination. Particularly, the Website is going to content the contributions of the different professional figures involved in the "System quality" of the virtual   museum offer; it is going to distribute didactic units and it is going to be the support for the exploitation activities throughout the project different phases.

PHASE     4

 

   RESEARCH ACTIVITY    

 

 

Duration

Fourth-twelfth months; 9 months (the first in contemporary to phase 3) divided in 3 sub-phases: 

  • 4.A Characteristics, relevance and profile of the European Museums  telecommunication supply – Use of Case studies methodology (3 months) 
  • 4.B Sector forecast, training needs, investments in human resources and training  innovative demand – Use of Delphi method (3 months) 
  • 4.C New professional roles concerning the European Museums  telecommunication supply -  Use of Check lists and Swot  analysis (Strenght-Weakness-Opportunities and Threat) (3 months) 

 

Specific  goals

Survey and analysis of the European  virtual museum offer and its development, of new professional roles and their formative requirements (in application of the sectorial plan defined in the phase 2) 

 

Activities:  

  • Sub-fase 4.A  
    • Analysis of the documentary sources and on field inquiries in Europe and among those countries involved MUSEUM partnership.
    • Identification of the bests practices for each country, through indications furnished in way structured from sectorial experts
    • Evaluation of best performances transferability respect to the taget group possibly on 7 case studies
    • Construction of a comparative bibliography on the European virtual  museum offer, focusing the attention on human resources 

 

  • Sub-fase 4.B 
    • Research and analysis of the available documentary sources. 
    • Analysis of formative requirements scenery, in particular of social dialogue and promotion of the equal opportunities through method DELPHI, realized involving at least 105 privileged witnesses at European level, followed by data treatment with statistic multivariate analysis. The analysis is aiming to picture the evolution of this sector in Europe from a quantitative/qualitative point of view, as well as on characteristics for  personeel  to form and to promote 

 

  • Sub-fase 4.C 
    • Analysis of sources, documentary and of the specific inquiries already realized to European level and in different countries. 
    • Construction of a check-list to be used for on field survey by the museum partners
    • On field analysis through check-list, inorder to find out the relevant profiles for professional figures to be formed and promoted, beginning from the managerial figures (organizational and managerial), then those with responsibility in technologies and human resources development with the purpose to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise-museums 
    • Organization and elaboration through SWOT analysis of relevant data through check-list  
    • Construction of a comparative bibliography on new professional figures, competences, requirements, based on social dialogue and the promotion of the equal opportunities.

PARTNERSHIP WORKSHOP IN BERLIN- PLANNING OF A PROTOTYPE OF A  TRAINING MODEL AND ORGANIZATION OF TOOLS AND MEANS FOR THE EXPERIMENTATION

 

 

Duration

Thirteenth - sixteenth month; 4 months

 

Specific  goals

  • In the occasion of Berlin partnership mid-term workshop sharing of the results of the three researches (see phase 4)
  • Creation and a first testing of online and on the job learning support system as long-life learning support considered strategic for the training and the implementation of a " Quality System " of virtual museum professional figures; those European figures who come out through DELPHI method (phase 4.b) and on field level through check-list and SWOT analysis (phase 4.c). 

 

Activities  

  • Partnership Workshop in Rome in order to discuss, share of the results of the three researches and MID-TERM REPORT(see phase 4).The meeting is also important for the definition of a training workplan being the workflow finalized by Consiel, with the support of EIL and of Alba Iulia in the predisposition of the tools (see details in Phase 2) 
  • Training workplan related to online and on the job  testing of didactic units finalized to the updating of the  museum personal  in order to increase of the quality of the virtual museum  offer

INSTITUTION OF A SPECIFIC TEAM TO INVOLVE IN THE TRAINING  EXPERIMENTATION FOR EACH MUSEUM PARTNER OF THE PROJECT

 

 

Duration

Thirteenth month; 1 month (at the same time with the first month phase 5) + 1 day of training (during the last two months of the phase 5);

 

Specific  Goals

  • Creation of the team (for each partner managing museum) composed by managers to be involve in on line and ond the job testing of the model 
  • Trainig and support of the local teams - 1 day training 

 

Activities

Identification, selection, motivation, involvement and training of target groups: personnel whose functions (beginning from managerial ones), competences and attitudes needed for on line and ond the job training project in order to increase the quality of virtual museum offer.

PHASE          7

 

 

IMPLEMENTATION  OF A CONTINUING  TRAINING EXPERIMENT  AIMED AT INCREASING QUALITY IN TELECOMMUNICATION SUPPLY FOR THE MUSEUMS THROUGH THE SET-UP OF ON-LINE  AND ON THE JOB LABORATORIES -  CREATION OF A EUROPEAN  VIRTUAL MUSEUM

 

 

 

Duration

Seventeenth-twenty-first month; 3 months; 19 months 

 

Specific  goals

Realization of a brief experimentation, through the set-up of Laboratories online and on the job, of MU.S.EU.M. training model prototype aiming to the increase of the quality of virtual museum services. 

 

Activities

Laboratories of distance training that test the model through the creation of a prototype of virtual museum on the European roots. 

 

Products/Results 

Laboratories for training experimentation online and on the job realized in seven countries of  European union.

22nd and 23rd month; 5 months

 

Specific goals 

  • On the basis of testing Laboratories results, definition of a training model online and on the job appropriated to the redefinition, revision and continuous updating of the professional competences of personnel working in museum structures and whose activity has a key importance for the quality of cultural and telematic services: the model MU.S.EU.M. 
  • Finding out of the relevant characteristics for curricula of the professional profiles involved in the training Laboratories

  • Creation of online and on the job training model that includes the results of European laboratories’ activities and that is supposed to the increase of the quality of virtual museum services (virtual Museum)
